Designed by Kenzo Tange, a renowned Japanese architect, the building complex comprises three structures, each serving different functions. The most recognizable of these is the 48-story Tokyo Metropolitan Main building No.1. It boasts a unique split-tower design that has become a symbol of Tokyo’s skyline.

One of the main attractions of the building is the pair of free observation decks located in each tower of the Main building No.1. These observation decks, situated 202 meters above ground, offer panoramic views of Tokyo and, on clear days, sights such as Mount Fuji.

The complex also hosts offices, conference rooms, and halls for official functions. Moreover, it contains the Tokyo Tourist Information Center, several shops, cafes, and restaurants, contributing to the visitor-friendly environment.

In conclusion, the building stands as a testament to Tokyo’s modern architecture and provides visitors with a captivating view of the expansive metropolis.
