Siam Park

Siam Park is one of the most famous attractions in the Canary Islands and is widely considered one of the best water parks in the world. Located in Costa Adeje on Tenerife, the park combines large water slides, artificial beaches and tropical landscaping with elaborate Thai-inspired architecture. Since opening in 2008, Siam Park has become one of Tenerife’s most visited attractions and draws visitors from across Europe throughout the year.

The park was designed around a Thai theme, with temples, bridges, statues and tropical gardens creating an atmosphere very different from a typical water park. The owners reportedly received permission from the Thai royal family to use traditional architectural styles and decorative elements throughout the site. The result is a surprisingly immersive environment combining entertainment with highly detailed design.

Siam Park contains attractions aimed at both thrill seekers and families. One of the most famous rides is the Tower of Power, a near-vertical water slide that sends riders through a transparent tunnel passing through an aquarium filled with sharks and rays. Other major attractions include the Dragon, the Volcano and Singha, a fast water coaster featuring sudden drops and high-speed turns.

For visitors looking for a quieter experience, the park also contains large artificial beaches, tropical gardens and a lazy river considered one of the longest in the world. The enormous wave pool at Siam Beach produces some of the highest artificial waves of any water park and is popular with both swimmers and beginner surfers.

Despite the park’s size and popularity, extensive landscaping and shaded areas help create a more relaxed atmosphere than many large theme parks. Restaurants, cafés and private cabanas are spread throughout the site while water temperatures are heated year-round due to Tenerife’s mild climate.

Located close to Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas, Siam Park is easy to combine with southern Tenerife’s beaches and resorts. For many visitors, it becomes one of the highlights of a Tenerife holiday and remains one of the island’s best attractions for both adults and children.visitors looking for a day of aquatic fun and excitement.
